Historic décor

Hotel Workum is an old, converted Frisian stelpfarmhouse located on the water. Guests have been coming to this farmhouse for many years to relax, unwind, and enjoy. A unique spot which guests cannot get enough of, with a waterfront terrace and a view of the old lock to the Ijsselmeer. 

A historic shipyard, or Scheepstimmerwerf, called ‘de Hoop’ is located next to the lock. Together the shipyard and the lock form a beautiful and notable backdrop.
